Mina
Mina is a freelance author, editor and creator based in Canberra. She has a particular fondness for creating junior fiction stories featuring unusual characters and writing non-fiction in all shapes and forms.
Whenever Mina is not researching her newest non-fiction project or building worlds for her fictional characters, she writes travel and lifestyle articles.
She was shortlisted for the World Nomad Travel Writing Scholarship for her article on Kokburu (Goat Polo) in Kyrgyzstan and was a judge in the 2021 CYA Conference.
Mina grew up in Austria and moved to Australia in 2017. She and her husband share their cosy home with a ginger rescue cat – known as the Canberran Tiger.
